About the Journal

The Indian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (IJHP) was established by the Indian Hospital Pharmacists Association (IHPA), the national professional body representing hospital pharmacists in India. Under the leadership of Dr. B.D. Miglani, the journal has been continuously published for over five decades. For the past eight years, it has been published by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, with Dr. N. Udupa serving as editor.

The IHPA is dedicated to:

• Providing a professional forum for hospital pharmacists to secure their rightful place in the healthcare system.
• Promoting and developing the practice of pharmacy.
• Enhancing the knowledge and skills of hospital pharmacists.
• Disseminating professional scientific knowledge through journals, newsletters, and mass information technology.

The Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (JOHP) is another significant publication in the field. Launched with the blessings of former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, it is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, and case reports in areas such as clinical pharmacology, pharmacy practice, and pharmacovigilance.
